heroal at the Sun Shading Expo North America 2026

Verl, September 2026. Intense solar radiation and high temperatures place high demands on effective sun protection, particularly in buildings with large areas of glazing. Solutions that support thermal comfort and energy efficiency while also offering a wide range of design options are therefore particularly attractive for the North American market. From November 3 to 5, 2026, heroal – Johann Henkenjohann GmbH & Co. KG will showcase its portfolio of sun protection and roller shutter systems at the Sun Shading Expo North America in Orlando, Florida. The aluminum systems company will showcase solutions for residential and commercial buildings at booth #2319 in the Orange County Convention Center. The Sun Shading Expo will take place alongside the Advanced Textiles Expo.

Flexible textile sun protection

Taking center stage at the trade show will be the heroal VS Z textile sun protection system. Thanks to innovative zip technology, the fabric is held securely in the aluminum guide rails. This allows the system to cover areas of up to 18 m² (194 sq ft) while providing high wind resistance of up to 145 km/h (90 mph). Different panel box designs, numerous fabrics and a wide range of installation options enable flexible adaptation to technical and design requirements. heroal will also showcase the particularly slim heroal VS C solution, in which the screen is guided by stainless steel cables.

High-performance roller shutter systems

At the Sun Shading Expo, heroal will also inform visitors about its portfolio of aluminum roller shutter systems. The systems combine high stability and resistance to wind loads with good winding performance and a wide range of design options. Solutions on display will include the heroal RS 37 RC 2 and heroal RS 55 SL security roller shutters. The roller shutter slats offer particularly high resistance and certified burglary resistance, even with large element widths and high wind loads. Visitors can learn more on site about the application and fabrication options for heroal sun protection and roller shutter systems and speak directly with heroal experts.
